Spire Healthcare underwent a rigorous onsite review in April 2024. During the visit, a Joint Commission reviewer evaluated compliance with related certification standards including credentialing requirements, contract standards and implementation, and performance improvement measures. Joint Commission standards are developed in consultation with health care providers, patients, and industry experts.

An independent, nonprofit organization, The Joint Commission is the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care.
