As we’ve been saying for quite some time, there is no shortage of great, inspiring stories from the world of recruiting available. There are quite a few inspiring people out there who are trying to make moves in their careers — and oftentimes the path is not, perhaps, as expected or planned.

Here at Spire, we’ve shared some of the “out-of-the-box” stories on how we’ve approached situations and some of the semi-unorthodox and roundabout ways we’ve connected candidates to great positions. There’s far more than just the moments of a good candidate finding a great fit or a client success story. It’s the attention to how recruiting doesn’t have to fit into a box or a space in the professional world that most consider to be a monosyllabic style of business.

Something that makes us, at Spire, different is the time we spend with candidates and how that time is spent. That’s where these great stories come from. We consider ourselves lucky to work with so many wonderful people — and that’s where many of these moments come from.

Whether it’s the endless pursuit of a perfect candidate or the care and attention to keep a person in mind for the right role down the road. These instances can’t be written into a playbook or how-to manual. It all comes from understanding the person beyond a process.
